Norwegian is spoken in Norway and has two written standards (Bokmål and Nynorsk).

Pronunciation and spelling notes

Like Swedish, Norwegian words carry a melodic tone difference. The "kj" and "skj" sounds take getting used to, and "æ, ø, å" are separate vowels.
