How to use the lists
Do not try to finish a list in one sitting. Pick 5 words a day, read each example sentence aloud, try to recall the meanings that evening without looking, and test yourself again a few days later.
Use the lists together with spaced repetition, not on their own: spreading reviews over time makes words last. We explain the idea in What is spaced repetition? A plain-English guide for language learners.
If you do not know your level, try the method in How to find your CEFR level at home: a self-check guide; to study by level see the CEFR Levels A1–C2 page.
If you want to study these words in sentences and by level, add the language in Frigya and choose any of the A1–C2 levels; you can start without an account.
