Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Frigya ("we", "the app") is a mobile vocabulary-learning application. This document explains what data we collect when you use the app, why we collect it, and your rights.

2. What Data We Collect

  • Google account info (name, email, profile photo) — when you sign in with Google.
  • Apple account info (email address — or, if you use Apple's "Hide My Email", a random relay address forwarded by Apple) — when you sign in with Apple (iPhone only). (There is no separate email/password account type — only Google or Apple sign-in, or guest mode.)
  • Invite code information (your own code, and a friend's code if you redeemed one) — for the premium referral program.
  • Native language and target language(s) — during initial setup.
  • Word learning history — during every lesson.
  • Daily streak / goal data — each day you use the app.
  • Device/session identifier (guest mode) — on first launch.
  • Technical error information (crash reports) — when an error occurs.
  • Rating/feedback information (a 1-5 star rating and any comment you write) — when you rate the app.

Data we do not collect: location, contacts, photos, payment/card details, health data, advertising identifiers.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, protected by Row Level Security. The on-device word-learning cache is additionally encrypted (AES-256).

3.1. International Data Transfer

Your data is hosted outside Turkey, at a Switzerland-based data center operated by our infrastructure provider, Supabase. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, your authentication data is likewise processed on Google's or Apple's (US-based) infrastructure. By using the app, you consent to this cross-border processing.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

  • Supabase — database/authentication infrastructure provider (see section 3.1). Everything the app collects, including technical error information and rating/feedback information, is stored only on this infrastructure — no data is shared with any other third-party service.
  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Apple — only if you choose to sign in with Apple.

We do not share or sell your data to any third party for advertising purposes.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / KVKK)

  • Right of access: find out what data is stored about you.
  • Right to be informed of the purpose of processing and whether it's used accordingly.
  • Right to know which third parties, in Turkey or abroad, your data has been transferred to (see sections 3.1 and 4).
  • Right to rectification: change your native/target language from within the app, or request correction of any inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure: Settings > Delete Account in-app permanently and immediately deletes your account and all data.
  • Right to have corrections/erasure communicated to any third parties your data was shared with.
  • Right to object to a decision based solely on automated processing that has a negative legal effect on you (the app does not use any such automated decision-making).
  • Right to claim compensation if you're harmed by unlawful processing.
  • Right to data portability: request a copy of your data at info@adlans.com.

We respond to requests sent to info@adlans.com within the timeframe required by applicable law.

5.1. Account Deletion

There are two ways to delete your account:

  • From within the app: Settings > Delete Account permanently and immediately deletes your account and all your data.
  • If you no longer have the app installed: email info@adlans.com with the email address associated with your account (Google, or Apple if you signed in with Apple) to request deletion. We process such requests within 30 days and confirm once complete.

Data deleted: your learning history, account information, referral/premium status, and every other piece of data the app associates with you are permanently removed. This cannot be undone.

6. Data Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not designed for users under 13.
